1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website wisetroop.co and the services provided by Wisetroop Pte. Ltd. ("Wisetroop", "we", "our", or "us"), including pet nutrition consultation, webinars and workshops, educational articles, standard recipe formulation, therapeutic recipe formulation, veterinary referral formulation, commercial pet food formulation, and commercial consultancy services.
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

Full details of each service, including fees and turnaround times, are available on wisetroop.co. All services are subject to availability and Wisetroop reserves the right to decline any engagement at its discretion.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Pet Nutrition Consultation
Payment for pet nutrition consultation sessions is due at the end of the session. Wisetroop accepts payment via Stripe. Invoices are issued via My Invoices upon completion of the session.
3.2 Veterinary Referral & Commercial Pet Food Formulation
A deposit of 50% of the total quoted project fee is required prior to the commencement of any formulation work. The remaining balance of 50% is due upon final delivery of the completed Recipe Report. Work will not commence until the deposit has been received in full.
3.3 Commercial Consultancy
Commercial consultancy is billed at SGD 250 per hour. Invoices are issued upon completion of each consultancy session or at agreed billing intervals for ongoing engagements.
3.4 General
All fees are quoted and payable in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Wisetroop is not GST-registered. Fees are subject to change and will be confirmed in writing prior to the commencement of any engagement.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Pet Nutrition Consultation
As payment is collected at the end of the consultation session, no advance payment is required and therefore no refund is applicable.
Clients are strongly encouraged to provide at least 48 hours' notice should they need to cancel or reschedule a consultation appointment. While no cancellation penalty applies, timely notice allows Wisetroop to offer the appointment slot to other clients requiring a consultation. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect the availability of future appointments.
4.2 Veterinary Referral & Commercial Pet Food Formulation
The following cancellation and refund policy applies to the 50% deposit paid upon project confirmation:
Cancellation within 24 hours of deposit payment, prior to delivery of the first recipe: A partial refund of 75% of the deposit amount will be issued.
Cancellation after 24 hours of deposit payment, prior to delivery of the first recipe: A partial refund of 50% of the deposit amount will be issued.
Cancellation after delivery of the first recipe: No refund will be issued.
Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 14 working days of the cancellation request. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@wisetroop.co.
4.3 General
Wisetroop reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any engagement due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable.
5. Intellectual Property
All recipes, reports, nutritional analyses, formulations, and other deliverables produced by Wisetroop ("Deliverables") are the intellectual property of Wisetroop Pte. Ltd. until full payment has been received, at which point ownership of the Deliverables is transferred to the client.
Wisetroop retains the right to use anonymised case information and nutritional data for educational, research, and business development purposes, unless the client expressly requests otherwise in writing.
Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise any Deliverables without the prior written consent of Wisetroop.
6. Limitations of Liability
6.1 Not a Substitute for Veterinary Care
Wisetroop's services are educational and advisory in nature and are not a substitute for professional veterinary care. All dietary and nutritional recommendations provided by Wisetroop are intended to complement, and not replace, the clinical management and treatment prescribed by a qualified veterinarian. Wisetroop does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency advice.
If your pet requires urgent medical attention, please contact your veterinarian directly.
6.2 Ingredient Quality and Food Safety
Pet owners and manufacturers assume full responsibility for the quality, sourcing, correct storage, handling, preparation, and contamination control of all ingredients used in the preparation of recipes formulated by Wisetroop. Wisetroop accepts no liability for any adverse outcomes arising from the use of substandard, contaminated, or incorrectly stored ingredients.
6.3 Household Food Safety
Pet owners are responsible for maintaining appropriate food safety practices within their household when preparing, storing, and feeding fresh food — particularly raw food. This includes, but is not limited to, the safety of young children, elderly individuals, and individuals with compromised immune systems who may be at heightened risk of exposure to pathogens associated with raw food handling and preparation.
6.4 Variability of Nutrient Content in Whole Foods
All nutritional calculations performed by Wisetroop are based on available nutritional data for whole food ingredients. The nutrient content of whole foods may vary depending on a number of factors, including season, geographic origin, farming practices (such as free-range versus intensively reared), storage conditions, and method of preparation or cooking.
As such, the nutritional values reflected in any recipe or formulation produced by Wisetroop are an informed, evidence-based estimate and cannot be guaranteed to be exact on every occasion of preparation. Clients and pet owners are advised to monitor their pet's health, weight, and condition regularly and to consult their veterinarian or Wisetroop if any concerns arise.
6.5 General Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wisetroop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of data, or any adverse health outcomes in pets.
7. Client Responsibilities
By engaging Wisetroop's services, clients agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at all times, including via intake forms, referral forms, and quotation request forms
Inform Wisetroop promptly of any changes to their pet's health status, medications, or treatment plan that may affect the nutritional recommendations provided
Share all formulated recipes and nutritional recommendations with their primary veterinarian before implementation, particularly for pets managing chronic or complex health conditions
Implement all dietary recommendations responsibly and in accordance with the feeding guidelines provided
8. Accuracy of Information
Wisetroop endeavours to ensure that all information published on wisetroop.co is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of any content on our website and reserve the right to update or amend content at any time without notice.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
10. Amendments to These Terms
Wisetroop reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on wisetroop.co with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or services following any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
